Donate wherever, do good deeds whenever on ‘Punboon’ website (Read in Thai)


Maj Dr Sarawit Suboon, as known as Dr Kong, one of sponsors in World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT)’s Child Sponsorship Programme has joined “Punboon by TMB The Exhibition” event held by TMB Bank to introduce and publicise the ‘Punboon’ website, www.punboon.org. In this occasion, Mr Piti Tantakasem, Chief Executive Officer, Mr Senathip Sripaipan, Chief Wholesale Banking Officer, along with other executives from TMB Bank, and Ms Esther Supreeleela, Mr Peach-Pachara Marcel Chirathivat, and Mr Kan Kantathavorn, show hosts and actors/actress, as well as the executives and representatives from WVFT and other charitable organisations have joined the opening ceremony at the Central Court, 1st floor, Central World.


Apart from the gallery to exhibit stories and social development projects of more than 40 charitable foundations and organisations, the event has featureda discussion session to exchange the new generation’s points of view towards donation. Dr Kong Sarawit Suboon, the WVFT’s ambassador, has shared his belief that “boon” (a good deed) means an act of voluntary giving which brings happiness to the givers. Mr Peach-Pachara Marcel Chirathivatadded added that a good deed will lead the doer to heaven. Ms Esther Supreeleela expressed her confidence that the elation from passing good things to others surely defines the concept of “boon”.


The ‘Punboon’ website has brought together charitable foundations and organisations nationwide to connect to the world of sharing at just one click away. It has been developed based on the Revenue Department’s e-Donation system. The donations made through QR code scanning will also lessen the burden on document filing for tax deduction.So far, 40 charitable foundations and organisations have been part of the project. Additional philanthropic bodies are expected to participate to add up to 200 organisations by this year’s end.The objective is to invite everyone to join hands in building the society of sharing through the ‘Punboon’ website 24 hours a day.

The donations can simply be made through the website www.punboon.org in 3 steps as follows:
• Go to www.punboon.org Choose a charitable organisation of your choice, then enter the amount of donation, starting from 10 baht, fill out the required fields and click confirm.
• Select type of payment and confirm payment through QR code scanning to pay with mobile banking, credit card or Rabbit Line Pay.
