World Vision Foundation of Thailand <\/strong>participated in the CSR activity \u201cFedEx Cares: Delivering Bright Futures\u201d <\/strong>under the Smart Start for Kids and Eco-School with Community Involvement project, organized by FedEx Thailand<\/strong> in collaboration with local partner networks at Wat Thewasunthorn School, Chatuchak District, Bangkok, on Saturday, 21 March 2026.<\/p>

The activity was organized with the objective of promoting holistic child development alongside the creation of a learning environment conducive to sustainable growth, through the integration of environmental, educational, and health initiatives. It also aimed to encourage the engagement of schools, communities, government agencies, and the private sector. Participants included volunteers from FedEx Thailand, teachers, students, community members, and representatives from local agencies.<\/p>

During the opening ceremony, Ms. Jeerawan Mekmontha, Director of Wat Thewasunthorn School, delivered the welcome remarks to participants, followed by Mr. Prasart Phosrimart,<\/strong> Director of Chatuchak District, Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, who addressed the importance of participatory school and community development. Mr. Sasathorn Phaspinyo,<\/strong> managing director, FedEx Thailand, then spoke about the company\u2019s continued support for initiatives related to children, the environment, and community development.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Mr. Arnon Suansri,<\/strong> Director of Human Resources, World Vision Foundation of Thailand, spoke about the Foundation\u2019s role in working on education, environmental, and health initiatives in collaboration with local partners.<\/p>

\u201cToday, I feel truly delighted and deeply proud to return to this school once again\u2014a place where World Vision previously worked closely with the community many years ago. Seeing the positive and meaningful changes that have taken place feels like returning home<\/em><\/p>

World Vision works with vulnerable and underprivileged children, focusing on development in three key areas: education, health, and the environment. We believe that sustainable child development cannot be achieved by working alone; it requires collaboration from all sectors, including government agencies, the private sector, and communities.<\/em><\/p>

I would like to sincerely thank all partners and volunteers for your genuine participation. Following the opening ceremony, the morning session focused on environmental activities. FedEx volunteers, together with the Chatuchak District Office, were divided into groups to carry out a canal clean-up activity along Khlong Prem Prachakorn, as well as a Zero Waste campaign promoting waste segregation along the route from the school to the canal-side community. Trash bins and educational materials were also provided to the community. The atmosphere was filled with cooperation and hands-on learning, raising awareness of the shared responsibility in caring for the environment.<\/p>

In the afternoon, activities focused on promoting children\u2019s learning and life skills through a variety of activity stations. These included learning how to make compost from food waste and grow kitchen garden vegetables at the school, repurposing used plastic bottles into plant pots, setting up learning corners to support child development, improving activity areas to enhance safety, and providing health education and basic first aid knowledge, along with essential equipment for the school. All activities provided opportunities for children and youth to learn through hands-on experience and to strengthen their sense of social and environmental responsibility.<\/p>

Throughout the event, the atmosphere was characterized by strong collaboration, commitment, and active participation from all sectors. This reflected the power of partnership among the private sector, government agencies, schools, communities, and non-governmental organizations in working together to improve children\u2019s quality of life and to build a society that supports learning and sustainable growth.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Participation in this activity reflects the commitment of World Vision Foundation of Thailand to working collaboratively with partner networks to create educational opportunities, promote environmental sustainability, and lay a balanced foundation for long-term child and community development.
