Microsoft (Thailand) supports bikes for vulnerable kids (Read in Thai)

Microsoft (Thailand) Company Limited, led by Ms Shan Liu, Finance Director, Microsoft APOC Operations Finance, has handed over 10 bicycles under the ‘Bikes for Kids’ project to Wad Phakkad School, Pong Nam Ron district, Chantaburi province, which is situated in the development area of World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT). Dr Bunjongsek Supsopha, WVFT’s Assistant National Director – Marketing and Fundraising, and student representatives from Wad Phakkad School have participated in the event to receive the bikes at Microsoft (Thailand) Office, CRC Tower, All Seasons Place.

In the event, Ms Shan Liu and 36 staff members of Microsoft (Thailand) have joined recreational activities with the children and assembled the bicycles before handing them over to the student representatives in the event. The bicycles will be delivered to students whose houses are far from school for their better convenience to go to school and in daily life. The bikes will be passed on to the younger students once the first batch completes their education.

“We’re so glad to see the children today. I heard that they’ve made a long trip from Chantaburi province. We hope that everyone will enjoy the bikes we’ve assembled and believe that these bikes would make their trips to school easier,” said Ms Shan Liu.
