Providing students with access to a variety of learning activities and understanding the needs of the labour market is a crucial factor that will help them set effective educational and career goals for the future. In addition to helping students choose an appropriate higher education path, this also encourages them to select careers that align with their interests and aptitudes.
In mid-February 2025, World Vision Thailand, led by Mrs Rosalin Kowae, National Director, along with staff, participated in the “Saturday School Big Day 2025” event organised by the Saturday School Foundation and volunteers at BMA Bangkok City Hall 2 Building 2.
The event aimed to provide a platform for students to showcase their work, promote learning outside the classroom, and feature more than 28 student projects. Over 1,200 people attended the event.
World Vision Thailand joined the event by organising a booth to provide knowledge to children and youth through the following activities:
- “Promoting child and youth participation in society: building citizenship skills and youth volunteering roles in their community
- “Five Things to Grab and Run in a Disaster”: providing knowledge about emergency preparedness
- “Celebrating Families” card game: tightening family tie through a skill-enhancing game
