Because children are given proper nutrition, play and rest in a safe environment, which is important for their social, emotional and physical development, and also helps stimulate their creativity and self-expression.
On July 11, 2024 , Mastercard and the Subhanimit Foundation jointly implemented the “Lunch and Playground Support Project” for children in two child development centers and schools in the Bueng Phra Ram 9 Community, developed by Mr. Winnie Wong , Country Manager, Ms. Natsicha Worapruekphisut, Vice President, Business Development, Ms. Apichaya Thueaksuban, Manager, Consumer Marketing from Mastercard and Mr. Anupap Salapsang , Manager of Corporate Engagement, Supanimit Foundation, along with community leaders and officers from both agencies.
In this event, volunteers from Mastercard came together to organize recreational activities for the children with determination. There were songs, games, and many prizes for the children to participate in to create fun and smiles for the children. In addition, they showed off their cooking skills for the children to enjoy.
In addition, Mastercard has also donated bedding storage cabinets and indoor playgrounds to early childhood development centers and schools for the children to use. They have also donated school bags to the Supanimit Foundation to distribute to underprivileged children in Omkoi District, Chiang Mai Province.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Mastercard also supported the Breakfast for Kids project to provide nutritious breakfast for children aged 0-6 years in child development centers and schools in the areas operated by the Subhanimit Foundation with a complete nutritious breakfast that includes all 5 food groups according to age-appropriate nutritional principles, as well as providing knowledge about the importance of breakfast to parents, schools, and communities in a sustainable manner, with a budget of over 5,279,900 baht.
