Following the improvement of the flood situation, World Vision Foundation of Thailand (WVFT), through its Sa Kaeo Area Programme, supported the restoration of schools within its project area by providing 100 meal boxes, 25 packs of drinking water, and cleaning supplies to assist local officials and volunteers in recovery efforts. This intervention forms part of the Thailand Flood Response 2026 Project.
This restoration initiative was made possible through the collaboration of multiple stakeholders, including the Aranyaprathet District Office, Tha Kham Subdistrict Municipality, 1201 Ranger Company, Village Security Volunteers (Chor Ror Bor), teachers, students, and community members. Together, they worked to clean school buildings, classrooms, playgrounds, and surrounding areas affected by the floods.
The collective effort highlights the strength of multi-sector partnerships in restoring learning spaces and creating a safe environment for children and young people. These recovery activities help ensure that students can return to school safely and continue their education without disruption.
World Vision Foundation of Thailand extends its sincere appreciation to all government agencies, partners, and volunteers who contributed their time, resources, and effort to the school recovery process and helped bring hope back to the community. Every act of collaboration plays a vital role in safeguarding the future of Thailand’s children and supporting their continued learning and well-being.
